the PROJECT – At Careplex, 360 was engaged to manage the design and construction of a $350,000 (overall project budget) refresh to their existing servery. The goal was to provide the most cost effective design to upgrade the menu offerings and provide the operations team the means in which to deliver those new offerings.
the CHALLENGES – The client was looking for a complete transformation on a minimal budget. 360 was tasked to figure out how to get the “most bang for your buck” while accomplishing the end goal, added menu offerings. In addition, 360 would be working with a general contractor with minimal food service experience.
the OUTCOME – 360 developed a plan of action to successfully deliver the project under budget. 360 was able to provide food service expertise to supplement the general contractor, delivering the scope of work within quality and schedule requirements. The project scope included new millwork, re-facing existing millwork, food service equipment, sneeze guards, engineered stone tops and new paint throughout including two stations in the Dining Room. The focus was on new and reworked stations, as well as an updated painting scheme which changed the entire look and feel of the Servery.
